Salt Lake City participates in Step It Up 2007
Yesterday I received an email from the Environmental Advisor to the Mayor (I signed up for some mailing list a while ago) that said there will be an environmental festival on April 14 in accordance with Step it Up 2007 (reference my previous blog). The festival will include live music, speakers, activists and community leaders in order “to call on congress to act immediately to formulate comprehensive policy to reduce global warming pollutants by 80% by the year 2050.” The festival will be taking place from 3 – 7 pm on April 14th at the City County Building. I apologize as I have not yet seen a link to a website for more information but will keep this blog apprised with the details.
