Local Films Playing at the Tower

Three short films produced by local film producers will be shown together at the Tower this next Monday and Wednesday.

Dates: Monday, April 16 7PM, Wednesday, April 18, 9pm
Where: The Tower
Cost: $7

Movie Descriptions:
Eureka! features poet Sharon Byran’s journey into memory. Set in the gold and silver mining town of Eurkea Utah, the ghosts of the past come alive in ths lyrical documentary.

He’s quiet. He’s reserved. He’s thoughful. And he really likes to play with FIRE. See Nate and his fire artistry in What Lights Nate.

A hike in the mountains led to The Oldest Tree, a tale of time, modern man, and a bristlecone pine called Prometheus.

    Could you please tell me anything about "The Oldest Tree". Who has created the film? Is it possible to purchase it online?


    In the beginning of August I'll take part at the Saving Prometheus Project. The rescued pieces will be delivered to the Tree Ring Lab at University of Arizona in Tuscon.

    I didn't know how to get a hold of you, so am just posting back to this blog hoping you check back. The Oldest Tree was created by a local film maker, whose name I don't have right now.
