07/07/07 Weekend Adventure: Uintas
The quest continues to climb at all the different crags in Utah. This weekend we hit up Ruth’s Lake for routes and then the Haystack for bouldering. The crew included Mathias, Satan, BW, NE Velcro, Ms. Orange, Shua and myself.

There was a 30% chance of rain this weekend, but we were fortunate enough to have the clouds blow in to cool everything off but not rain. At this point we were on the last route of the day. I thought the lighting was beautiful, but unfortunately the climber was already being lowered. Such is life..

We were fortunate enough to find the best camping spot I have ever seen in Utah. In fact, only a couple spots I used in Alaska beat out this gorgeous meadow.

Ms. Orange and I got a lazy start, but soon enough we were pretty jazzed to climb.
