Quick Ibex Trip
Tuesday, April 1st, 2008The combination of full time work and part time computer science classes has taken away most of my free time. I usually climb 3 - 4 days per week, but since school started I have only been able to get out once per week. I truly miss my old schedule of regular rigorous workouts and will gladly welcome the end of the semester in April.
One day I needed a break from studying and jetted out of town to Ibex on Friday night to camp for the single night and climb the next day with Shaft, SP, Raffitti, McClure and the Wookie. The temps were perfect until about 11 when the wind picked up. Subsequentially at this time, I became in dire need of a nap and decided to rest my eyes for “an hour” in the car. I must have been exhausted as the afternoon slipped away from me as the cb-gbers and I dreamt happily in the warmth of the car. Oh well .. it was still fantastic just to get out of town and be in the sun for a bit.
